World Class K-9 operates as both an established breeding and Georgia dog training facility. Family owned and operated, we are committed to providing personalized service that is founded on the principles of respect and is demonstrated daily through our work ethics and professionalism. Our staff works committedly to ensure the integrity of our customized dog training programs. We realize the demands required to achieve effective training include but are not limited to assessing a dogs temperament, identifying both the dog’s and owners personality types, pinpointing the owner’s goals, identifying a dog’s character traits and/or behavioral challenges. Without proper experience in these areas, one cannot easily achieve effective training. However, we at World Class K-9 through the guidance and hands-on direction of Lead Trainer and Owner/Operator Julius C. Henry, will put our dedicated 14 years of experience and proven track record of effective and quality training to work for YOU!

Julius, a former Security Specialist, was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1990 and embraces the idea of maintaining a strong training support system that is built upon practices such as consistency, socialization, patience, repetition, positive reinforcement and thorough observation. There is no shortage of experience at World Class K-9, but more importantly, we only provide services for which we are competent to render and we will never manipulate or fail to disclose pertinent facts regarding our practice(s). Our training programs are geared towards targeting behavior that requires modification and control through effective communication and WE DO IT compassionately WELL.

World Class K-9 offers a variety of dog training programs that focus on “true to life” training methods. Our programs have been proven to be successful. Addressing the concerns, needs and goals of our clients without forsaking the competency level of their pet to receive training has been key to our success. We only utilize humane methods of pet training. We strongly detest and discourage the use of abuse to achieve results. World Class K-9 consistently produce even-tempered, confident, loving and obedient dogs through positive reinforcement with emphasis on proofing. We believe that a holistic approach to training results in a more controlled pet; therefore, we train in various physical environments to ensure thorough focus. We pride ourselves on not over contracting work so that we can devote the quality attention that you and your pet deserve throughout the fulfillment of the elected training program. Each of our staff members undergoes a series of rigorous training sessions and seminars. Each member of our team is evaluated for competency and patience. Background assessments are completed on each member of our highly qualified staff.

World Class K-9 boasts that early socialization and environmental stress exposure are the foundation to successful dog training. Temperament testing is a part of our pre-contract evaluation that is conducted free of charge to determine individualized ability to complete certain levels of dog training. One of our lead trainers, after a complete evaluation has been made, will develop a customized training program structured specifically to suit owner and pet. A dog’s temperament when exposed to strange or unfamiliar environments and noises must be developed appropriately. A dog’s reaction when stressed is a critical determinant of the effectiveness of protection training. Your dog’s competency level will be the primary driver in determinng the duration of training required. We encourage owner involvement throughout the training process. The long-term success of any trained pet is consistent “at home maintenance” by the owner. The cliché “what is not used is lost” has weathered the tests of time as truth.
